Our approach
We take copyright-related issues seriously and review notices that identify allegedly infringing material or misuse of the service.
Good-faith expectation
Notices should only be submitted when the complaining party has a reasonable, good-faith belief that the reported use is unauthorized. Misrepresentations can carry legal consequences.
Scope of review
We may review the reported URL, related technical details, the notice contents, and any additional context needed to evaluate the request.
What to Include in a Copyright Notice
Your full legal name and a way to contact you.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
The exact URL or enough information to locate the material in question.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized.
A statement that the information in the notice is accurate.
A statement made under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
Counter-notices
If you believe material was removed or restricted by mistake or misidentification, a counter-notice should identify the material, explain the error, and include the statements required by applicable law.
Repeat abuse and service protection
We may restrict or block abusive use, repeated infringement-related misuse, or repeated attempts to interfere with service integrity or rights management.
